Rear Parking Sensor Install, anyone done it?

No, the numbers are back to front on the dislay so that when you look in the mirror they are correct ie it is 0.5 not 0.2 

My advise is to go for this model without the numbers PTS400I

Now that's clever! Good prices too. I actually like the digital display, but I think I'm getting ahead of myself now as i still have 6 weeks to wait without a Golf! MR2 Roadster anyone......

Yes as long as you have an aux input on your head unit

Is it possible to get some type of dual Aux input which would allow for this installation and also to play DVD's through a portable DVD player ?

Response from Steelmate - PTSV401:

"The system should be compatible as long as your screen has an AV output.

Launch date will be around the end of Feb but may be sooner we will keep you
informed. price is not set yet".

They mean AV INPUT the noobs!

Yes you can have multiple inputs but it costs!

I have my kit and I am read to do the install, looks doable.
One question though, where did you put the control box that the sensors plug in to.
Did you hide it behind the covering in the side of the boot?

Hi

I placed it in the O/S/Rear panel.

You will need to remove the O/S/R quarter pillar cover to access the wiring to the reverse lights
