  indeed....

i dont know then, somehow i couldnt see them being a bolt out bolt in straight swap, and then youve got the wiring loom and ecu that need changing over... nightmare!!

to be honest, as much as id love it, there is slim to no chance of me spending even 4k on an engine conversion!

even 3k is hell of a wedge... but then again 20vt mk3 =

www.awesome-gti.co.uk would be a good place to check, they used to advertise conversion prices on their web site but since they updated it the info is no where to be found, so im only guessing that they undertake that sort of work still.

every thought about a g60 conversion instead?

I haven't thought about a G60 conversion yet... Never actually seen a mk3 with a G60 conversion before, I don't know much about the spec of the G60 to be honest with you.

U know much about the spec on them?

cool!

put your pics here: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=45.0

Just posted a few pics there. Your place any good on insuring young people on GTI's?

I'm 19, one claim in Feb '06.

How much do you pay at the moment? have you had your licence over 2yrs?

At the mo I'm paying £1700 in my mother's name with me as a named driver...

Got a quote from Newton Lee Insurance Svcs for £1700 in my name, tpf+t with mods listed.

I've had my license for just over two years.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Maybe mate, get to 10 posts then pm me your number and i will give you a bell and see what i can do!
