Fitting 4motion rear valence to Gti
« on: 10 January 2007, 11:05 »
Has anyone encountered any problems from swapping the rear valence of the gti to that of a 4motion? ive purchased a milltek twin tailpipe style system and thought that it would be a straight swap in order to fit the exhuast.

comments please

There's a couple of bits of plastic you need to shave off the valance near the wheel arch ends, you'll see what I mean when you line it up.

Also the support bracket on the exhaust side will get in the way of the new exhaust, you need to cut it in half and lop it off (pair of snips will do it). You can then secure the valance using the other hole in the bracket.

Some pics from when I did mine.. probably won't help but heyho. I've since colour coded the valances.

Took me about 20 minutes to swap the rear valance over.
