Just fitted a K&N induction kit
« on: 09 January 2007, 12:42 »
Hello.
I have just fitted a K&N induction kit to my motor, but I am not happy with the way they have said to secure it, it's dancing around Jacko!
Any ideas how to secure better.
Cheers

i had to pop out to the car to get a tape... so took these, they are only camera fone pics, but u get the idea.

it was just some gash metal i found in the shed, kinda like the mechano stuff u used to get as a kid... measured, bent at 90 degrees with a vice and hammer.... 2 holes drilled, jobs a good 'un, filter doesnt actually move at all!!!

that help?

Yeah brand new came with bracket but not happy with it also seems to close to alternator and not that secure. I have attached to the cover of one of the belts as not long enough to reach anywhere else, but will knock one up like mase did at the weekend

I have not fitted the cold air pipe yet as that seems to be to close to alternator too.
Cheers chaps.
