Found on ebay a while back , have put one on mine under the gti badge at rear, looks good, understood by vw gti owners only and draws a blank with all others!!

nice one, good to let the thieves know which GTI is worth pinching in the car park!

So what cars if any do these badges normally go on?

You might as well just have a sticker in the back window stating 'caution - old man's GTI'!

On another note i see EVO has a long term R32 DSG now amongst it's fleet.

for some unknown reason, you cant buy the badge in the uk, only from germany , mine took about 1 week to arrive, i guess the cars i know with dsg are audi s3, new shape audi TT, Veyron has dsg apparently, Golfs GTI and understudy R32 ,(wait for the comments!) joking, also what i did find if you want to look a complete tit,is there is a vw Bunny badge also on ebay!!!, no joke have alook, and no i havent put one on mine, i have standards!

That's probably because over the pond, they're called Rabbit, and not Golf, and peeps over here wanna Americanise their motors!!

It's a question of taste!

Conversly, it could mean that the owner has reached a stage in his driving life where he has amassed the experience, knowledge and wealth to buy some that is quicker and a cut above the basic GTI buyer. Someone who doesnt want the baseball cap, boy racer image usually ascoicated with GTI buyers and someone who has the financial clout to always buy new and have it properly maintained unlike some of the bodges we read about on forum.

There is always another side to the story.
