Apologies if this has already been covered, but the search function keeps timing out on me

Has anyone tried Rain-X or similar products that claim to reduce rain build-up on your windscreen?

yeah works really well on motorways and so on, not so well about town.

Idk if i applied the stuff wrong but with rainx I find it collects tiny water droplets which is really annoying and impares my visibility,   :cry: I only applied it to the front end of the side windows, the bits where you see to the mirrors and compared to the un rainxd bits it holds water droplets! grrr (i used the rainx branded glass cleaner to prep the windows for the actual repeleant ,might have somethin to dowith it?) which reminds me i'll need to try n get the stuff off.

I used a cotton cloth and followed the instructions on both bottles where did i go wrong? they both came in a lil pack together so i presumed they could be used in conjuction with one another? lol

Wait till it's dry outside and do the whole lot again. Maybe 2x on the side windows as there isn't as much airflow over them. Personally, I don't think *I* would benefit from it atm as I don't use motorways. (hint - the airflow blows the water off....)

lol i tried nearly ev to get the stuff off! still wont budge, mind you all the chemical liquids i used are water based ;P yeah I shall give it another coat to see what happens....

If you really want it off, you can get stuff from halfrauds to do it. Something like 'intensive window cut'....
