HOW MANY MILES TO A TANK ON 1.8T???????

Hi people, can any of you with a 1.8t let me know how many miles you get from a full tank of fuel roughly. cheers guys :undecided:

Flippin' heck, I get about 230-250.

hi, just been through my first tank and got  227 miles and averaging 23 mpg. i think theres a problem with my 1.8t possibly my MAF. My main driving is around town and i do sometimes have a heavy foot but yet drive like a granny sometimes!

Anyone got similar figures??

On motorways or long journey in 5th gear its surpisingly economical.  If your mostly doing town driving it drinks petrol like its going out of fashion.  My long term average for about town is about 25mpg.  For a recent 150 mile journey on a nice open road it was 42mpg.  All in fifth gear and at a steady 60ish (boring I know) but I was pleasantly surprised how economical it could be, all that low down torque means it was pretty much like driving an automatic.

i think ill take it on a long stretch to see how she goes. driving around london is crap!  humps, humps and more humps and oh yeah speed cameras and lots of pot holes. hit a dirty fat pot hole today. hope it hasent messed up my tracking.

I was getting a sh!t 16mpg around town until i cleaned my MAF now I'm getting about 25mpg.Just filled the tank up tonight so i will see what i get now.I put 40 quid in before cleaning my MAF and i only got 190 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am mostly getting 250 miles on extreme town driving (55 ltr fuel tank).  I can't complain about that as I only get 200 in my 3.0 litre Beemer (70 ltr fuel tank).

I really love my golf 1.8 T and the worst thing is, its my wife's!
