What's it worth?
« on: 03 January 2007, 18:03 »
Hi all. I have a 1987 3 dr gti in red. Time for it to go so I ws wondering if you could give me an idea on price. It will have new mot, 6 months tax. The interior is excellent with no holes, 16v 'bottle top' alloys, lowered. Paint is fading a little. I was thinking about £700 ish?

Not possible to get pics. The car is having pre-mot work at the garage.

give the black plastic the shoe polich treatment and it'll look 100 times more appealing.

You are right FBF, I prefer the heat gun method personally! I have two new bumpers for the car anyhow. Would you like to give her a respray if I did the prep work?

Give it a good polish and you can usually rub an extra couple of hundred quid into her.

Picture of the same car below.. only 2 days apart. Which one would you have brought?
