hello people,

  Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a new keyand fob thing cut and coded because ive just brought a 1.6 16v mk4 golf and the key fob is pretty nakerd 'vw' sign worn off etc..just curious may just leave the fob as it is but wouldnt mind a nice new one! haha :grin:

Got any ideas on price?? :huh:

Just type in Golf fob into eBay as they always seem to crop up on the Bay at a fraction of the dealer price.
You may need to get a blank key and get it programmed and cut by VW, so may be worth finding out the prices from VW to get this done.

yeah i saw the fobs on ebay just wonderd what prices would be roughly ive heard 70-80 quid!  hopefully less lol, as ive got a lot of work to do on it. but its not essential so we'll see lol may treat myself!
