Mine was build week 12 (this week). Just had an email from dealer to let me know that the car is awaiting shipment.

A week to build it, and then three weeks to deliver it  Spec is 3-dr manual in Steel Grey with highline, MFSW, armrest, sunroof and cruise. Pretty much the same spec as my current GTi except for the MFSW. Hopefully we'll be into Spring by the time it arrives with salt-covered roads a distant memory

Have they got it on priority ship?

Mine was week 8 build and I will be picking it up on Wednesday , so there shouldn't be any excuse for a later delivery date than mine.

I got the excuse that they have been having problems with delivery up to getting them on the ship. Once they are classed as "on ship" there should only about a week to collection from the dealer if you push.

It was tagged for priority shipping two weeks ago, and believe me have been phoning dealer nearly every other day, spoke to the manager at my dealers in the week and he says he is as much in the dark as i am as to its whereabouts, thought it could possibly be shipped yesterday, but no word. Am going on holiday on Tuesday for two weeks so hopefully it will be here when i get back, at least it won't have to spend two weeks parked at Heathrow which i was'nt to happy about anyway, and it will be something to look forward to on my return.

I got mine on Saturday gone and have found _EVERY_ excuse to go out and drive it ( to my wife's great amusement )

I would have probably have ordered Xenons too, but I actually got the one the garage had ordered for itself... I only had a 2 week wait.

im only on my 2nd week in... 12 week wait they said, but then i havnt been givin a delivery time yet.
