Report on mine,
Picked it up Sunday from the dealer.
Pulled up in our p/x and the demo ED30 pulled up just after I got out, silver manual model.
To my utter suprise was the noise of the car, I'd never heard an ED30 run, and this one has got a few k's on the clock, very nice and turbo sounding, in a conservative way.
So went through all the crap money bit, and outside to the car, it was peeing it down, so didn't get a great chance to look at bodywork, which I don't like.
Anyway first off, Xennons a re awesome, worth every penny of £725 and would never buy car without them again.
Car pulls nice, but feels very tight everywhere, it had 9 miles on clock so should do I guess.
The interior is really nice, and seats very comfy.
Dry day today means had chance to incpect body, slight deep scratch on front bonnet, looks like been nudged up to or something fell on it, dealer says will sort next week, not overly worried but needs attention.
Slight mark on one of the wheels, from lashing / ratchet straps in transport, again nothing major.
Otherwise, don't know why people, slate the ED30, looks mint with full bosy colour and deep splitter, even though it does catch on our drive!, wheels look just right, nice off silver and really suit car.
It gives whole car that slightly different look above normal GTi and in black can blend in a little, just what I wanted for the mrs, as it doesn't attract a massive amount of attention. Its really a look twice car.
Hard thing now, is going to be deciding what to do with it, we promised we would change cars regular now, so as not too loose too much cash each change but its going to be hard to fill another slot with a car like this, it really does shout class, in a way a Focus / Astra / Civic / Seat could never do. S3 maybe?
