I actually agree - if it were a black car the black wheels wouldn't suit and the Pescaras are just the job - can't think of a more work intensive combination though - all that cleaning!

Something that does stike me is how high these cars sit - i think i need to see pictures of a car that has been used to see if the suspesion settles - surely not all these cars are still on blocks!!! If the cars do indeed sit that high i think i'll be investing in a wee 20-25mm lowering job!

The one I saw in Derby was no higher than a satd GTi next too it, and not really that much in it between the R32 on the other side.

the springs are the same part as the gti, so there should be no difference at all. i have some eibach pro kit springs for mine, just to drop it down another 15mm, oh and some h&r 28/24 anti roll bars on order

eibach sound just the job - all the other springs i had noted were like 25 to 40mm which would be too much of a drop and just make you look 'Max'

Same here - all ready, but now has to be shipped over.  Dealer told me will take 2 weeks to arrive here, "unless something happens to the ship!" (which didn't make me laugh!)

Hi Guys !

New member here

Was in Club GTI many moons ago used to run an 8v MK3 then a Corrado Storm (M999DAS)

Then an Evo6 then an R32 that is shagged ! (dont ask)

So just waiting for a Red Ed 30 - should be picking it up very soon so quite excited at the mo

Already thinking of tuning options at this early stage but will limit it to springs / remap...maybe

Catch you all soon

Hi there,

I ordered an Edition 30 in Jan and now have to suffer the agonising wait till April for it to arrive.

5 door (family in tow)
DSG
Reflex silver
Ipod prep in centre armrest
Rear tints from B pillar

I've read all the reviews, scoured the internet, hassled my dealer for tech info, and generally turned into a bit of an Ed30 nutter :nerd:

Did I mention I can't wait?
