Most things in 19" look good, we should have had the Pescarra's in 19's instead.

Spec ordered:
- Candy White
- 5DR
- DSG
- Bi-Xenons Headlights
- Highline Multi function Computer
- Luxury Pack 2
- Centre Armrest + IPOD
- Parking Sensor
- Dash 6CD changer
- Bluetooth Phone prep

Ordered
- January 13th

Build Date
- February 12th

Delivery
- Beginning March

Dealer
- Dovercourt Battersea

I really can't wait.  A lot of people dubious of Candy White, but I think its going to look awesome.

Question - does anyone out there know what the dock connector is on th e IPOD connection?  I have an older IPod (Gen 2) and I want to know if it will fit in the connector.  Off to New York in a couple of weeks, so if its time for an upgrade would like to know so can get a cheap one state side

cheers

are you sure you have a Gen 2 ipod from circa 2002, since gen 2 has the 6 pin firewire connection.  All ipods from Gen 3 onwards (my ipod is gen 3 and dates from 2003 and has the dock connector) will work in the golf.  for those that dont know the dock connector is the wide connector used in all current ipods and is about about 24mm wide.

You're right I have the Gen 3 one too with the dock connector.  So it looks like I'm good to go.

cheers!
