Does anybody know how i can get them out further or any one willing to give me a hand in doing them. I will have to take them to a grage tbe done if not but dont have that kind of money :

Hi Did my 1.8 T this week. As the car had done 120,000 mls, thought that is might be hassle getting struts out of Hubs. First I took out the Strut / Hub bolt then sprayed the Struts with lots of WD40, then undid the lower link bars that attach to the Wishbones to give enough drop to get Struts out. Then I hammered in a large flat screw driver into the Hub strut clamp. Then used a hammer to pursuade the Hub to slowly slide down the strut and off at the bottom.  Use lots of WD40 and don't be affraid wth the Hammer. You can also get a Trolley jack handle to wedge in between the Wisbone and chassis to get a bit more lower movement. Then just undo the top struct nut and away you go.

Hope you get on alright.
