How about a nice KENWOOD sticker for the back window and a 5" exhaust tip.  That should do it!  ;)

Didnt know BP sold optimax. the nearest optimax to me is 5 miles away so it says

By the way the kenwood sticker and exhaust tip were a joke...I was taking the pi$$!  ::)

Optimax is only available at Shell, but others do super unleaded (which is not quite as good, but better than normal).

been runninh optimax for a week now, engine runs alot smoother!!

i have an 86 8v and i use to use super unleaded 97ron, never could get the timin right but now with optimax (98ron), spot  on now, its the nuts!

I've always used optimax in my MKII 8v (with this engine), it burns really clean I had the head off abput 6 months ago and there was very little carbon build up, top stuff  ;D

This little topic of conversation regularly rears its head. I think the general feeling is that optimax works far better than regular or super, with more MPG and better performance. I have run mine on nothing but optimax (except for 2 tankfuls) for the past 8000 miles, and get over 40 MPG if steady, and 35-37 when driving hard. Its far quicker from the blocks too. It does involve planning fuel stops upto a week in advance sometimes, but its worth every penny.
