you arent going to warm up the water, or have it moving witohut a running engine, aty least not on a 1.3 cause the waterpump is driven by the cambelt.
thats why you have the initial bit of cold air till it all warms up then you get warm bowers of course..
1 Lp, make sure you get the blue cap from VW i chagned mine from a blackone after being advised, was the best thing I did, my old one was rusted solid so the little plate didnt even move..
