Best suspension kit's

Hi ive been having problems with my suspension on my car im thinking of replacing it all as i dont know how old it all is and i dont want to fix one and then the other one goes.

ive been looking on eay at sports suspension kits they look like there just the springs and shocks so i gather i will need to get hold of the mounts if so what are the bets mounts to get and where if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be good..

Get yourself onto vwspares.co.uk and get some G60 top mounts sorted out. While you are there sort yourself out with 2x threaded sleeve nuts for the front suspension and a set of bushes for the rear suspension. You could also replace your bump stops depending on their condition and mileage. If they look old or you don't know when they were last changed then I would definitely replace them.

How much do you want to spend on the suspension itself?

I can recommend the cheapy kits on ebay... I have one fitted to my valver at present.


depends on what you want, they only lower the car, I don't think the handling improves a great deal, but you do get e decent ride, not too hard and bumpy.

I'm looking to upgrade in the near future (and also lift the height a taj running at -80mm which is a bit too low really for a daily driver!), would really like eibach/koni, but need to save hard for that combo!

useful site i got some bits comming now. replacing everything in the rear and getting some new mounts for the front. my springs are a few months old and front shocks are good nick just da back messed up.
