125ish out of my 8v grey gti when i first got it

140out of my white mk2 vr not pushed it yet need a quiet road

just under 130 out of my white mk2 when it was a 8vgti

I've done about 135mph. Even past speed cameras, as i can make my number plate reflect the flash light lol. (secret product)

TOO fast  :embarassed: probably imprisonably fast but ive cut back

 plus at the moment the police ignore how fast im going at 4am  :evil:

an i prefer corners , left foot braking , lift off oversteer , sideways fun , that kinda hooliganism

indicated 130 in my 8v digi have a sneaking suspition that maybe slightly optimistic. The point of gtis is acceleration and handling not outright speed. Ever wondered why a lotus elise maxes out at just 126 mph? its cos it doesnt take any bloody skill to acheive max speed. Track times are a different matter cos they matter.
