When replacing the bulbs, can they be replaced with LED equivalents?
I've been thinking about doing this myself, but I might mess about with some fluorescent paints (On the dials) and Ultraviolet LED's. But I can only get 4v UV LED's so I might use 3x 4v UV LED's in series with a resistor, or use a 12v black cold cathode tube. If you look inside the casing of the clocks, there's a little shelf at the top about 5mm in depth where the original bulbs shine through, well thats where I'll be putting them.
I'm not sure of the value of the resistor to use yet though, my son has bought me some LED's with resistors on them allready for my dash switches (Christmas prezy) as per this thread
