help required mk4 fuses

can eneybody tel me which fuse is for the 12v in the boot please , as the light and plug in dont work ta.

The fuse layout should be shown inside the cover plate to the fuse box. If both the 12v socket and boot light are not working there maybe something else wrong as they are likely to be on separate circuits.

Have you tried your 12v socket with the ignition on - soemtimes they only work this way although I am not certain as they forgot to put one in my Golf!

If you have a multi meter or test lamp, check the connections to the 12v socket and light, including the earth. Chances are your light is not working as your rear screen wash could be leaking inside the rear hatch onto the light switch. Its a very common fault.
