Rear Fog Lamp

Hi Guys,
If i want both rear fog lamps to work do i just cut out the blank on the rear bulb holder or drill it out???
Why is it that the driver side one works and the other is blanked off  :rolleyes:

VW cutting costs i guess, just cut out the blank, file it down and stick in a bulb. :smiley:

I didnt have to cut mine, just knocked it out!
