right i screwed mine on for now
thought i would stick them on with some stuff i got from my cousins bodyshop he uses forgot name of it
so i put it on the arch and wing stuck it on clamped it over night and it came off again when i checked next day but it has made my wing look a right mess
all grey stuff on my wing cant see it because arch is covering it but i want it removing incase i ever decide to take
arches off for a new look
is they a better way of fitting them screws hold it very well but tiny gap at top of arch which will just annoy me
cheers
rob

on my mk2 i used no more nails!!
There is apparantly some stuff you can buy on ebay that really good too, i cant remember what its called though, i know its used for sticking boats together so if you search boat adhesive or something you might get it.....

polyurethane sealant is the stuff you want, it stays flexible so it won't go brittle and break - I stuck the floor of my other car on with the stuff and I reckon the aluminium would rip before the stuff lets go.

believe it or not , your standard loctite silcon adhesive would suffice , its flexible , waterproof , and takes extreme temps.
