Heya
« on: 20 December 2006, 23:26 »
Heya im new to the golf scene bought a MK2 Driver, had a bit of a bump in my old saxo which i loved to pieces while it was alive, now ive got the golf im back to basics but loving it, loads more fun and a bit quicker too.  Everybody seems to be telling me to drop a new engine in it but i dont want to do that.  I want to see what i can get from the standard 1595cc thats in it.  It is currrently completely standard!!!

I bought it yesterday19.12.06 at approximately 3:15pm   I cant find anywhere that will do a manifold for it so was thinkin my best bet would be to ask somewhere like Longlife to make me 1 maybe???

Anyway i joined this seeing as you all have more knowledge about golfs than i have definitely!!! So bring on the advice!!!

I had a 1.6 driver myself, never let me down. the most reliable car i have ever had and it took a good thrashing too.
