Neaty - the MK II diesel engine is bullet proof, and v economical for an old lump.


yea, wouldnt mind one, was looking at a G reg passat estate too with that lump in, was very tempted.

im not normally a ran of red cars but that looks spot on. Good work!

Thanks mate.  The red shines up nice.  Re the tyres, an old, slightly mental, ex-army, car crazy guy, I once knew told me that cleaning your car and not blacking-up the tyres was like getting dressed up and ready to go out and not polishng your shoes.  :grin: :grin: :grin:

Thanks Neaty.  I wanted a black one, but the red has really grown on me - I think the red complements the alloys nicely, esp with the red brake callipers.   :cool:

i think golfs always suit red, like a classic colour to have if you see what i mean.
