how do i ..........?

go about changing from a 6 disc changer in the armrest to use an ipod. who do i ask? what do i need? do vw supply kits etc? thicko here when it comes to this, is it as simple as plug in, no mods needed, just new housing for armrest etc etc.?

CD Chamger uses same input as ipod all you need is the insert for your armrest.  You pull out Cd changer and plug cable into insert.  Put in ipod and voila.

Will the inserts fit an armrest which previously had neither changer or ipod adapter, or should I look to put my ipod somewhere else (glovebox maybe or little cubby hole with the bottle opener in)?
