I think my Rado has Gremlins living in it.....
« on: 14 December 2006, 11:44 »
Thats the only explanation i can think of!

At the moment it seems every time i park the car, by the time i get back too it something else has broken!!

a couple of days ago i drove home from work, everything seemed fine. I Parked the car outside my house for about half an hour then came back out to go to the shop and no headlights!! Apparently the switch is broken!

anyway bodged this temporarily until i get a new switch.....

Last night parked outside the house while i unloaded the kids, went out a bit later to move the car onto the drive and cant open the drivers door!! apparantly knacked door handle

all this in addition to the rapidly growing list of stuff which needs fixing:

-front engine mount
-blowing exhaust
-rear beam bushes
-non beeping horn

all with xmas just round the corner and a fast approaching MOT!! Can you fail the MOT for not being able to open the door?

This car is gonna get a proper faulty towers style beating if this carries on!! Im starting to wish i had kept the Golf.........

I think it can fail on not being able to open the door. Saftey issue or something.

As for the gremlins, just be glad you haven't had any of the electrical issues that they seem to be plagued with.

Martin stop parking it outside the house and park it on the drive, sounds like the Gremlins only attack out front!

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

Usually things like the rear spoilers getting stuck in position (either up or down, but you can move them manually) dash electrics going mad, etc.

Couple of mates have had them, and one even had the entire car rewired it was that bad.

Trouble is my drive is very narrow so if i park on the drive i cant open the door wide enough to get my baby boy out, but it might be worth it.....(house will be a lot quieter and tidyer!

Gonna park it in a ditch if things keep breaking oops insurance bloke, cant say that...
