Something good came out of something bad

Some muppet decided to plough in to the back of my mk2 16v on the motorway 3 weeks ago and wrote it off.
After suffering with neck, shoulder and back pain i decided i wanted to go back to a mk1 again!
So after a week of hunting i found this mint little beauty







Its an E-Reg GTI Helios blue cab.  Its has done a genuine 77k miles and drives extremely well.

cabs are here to takeover, i have another deal in the pipeline for another one extremely cheap  :grin: :grin:
I think it has been lowered but not sure by how much

I'd say it's lowered about 40mm at a guess. It looks a similar height to mine now, not the pic in my sig as it hadn't been lowered then.

looks like its as low as mine, but i dont know how much that is tbh, think its 40mm  :smiley:

Yeah i have the bits to build a 16v G60 for my mk2 but i have seriously fallen out with the mk2 and mk1's are the way forward
