Indicator Units
« on: 11 December 2006, 18:43 »
Ok, as its coming up to christmas, i want someone to replace my indicators for me  Trouble is, i dont know whether i want smoked or clear?!? Or maybe the OEM VW ones that are on the edition ones?!

I dont know where to look for the indicators either, i was thinkning GSF, are they any good or not?

I can provide a picture of my car, maybe someone could shop some different designs of indicator on them?

Cheers :)

Yeah, that was my logic too... I just wasnt (still not sure) sure where to get them from, and what they would like on my car! Are the Genuine VW edition one indicators clear or not?

I suppose they would then need to match the side repeaters too, so i would need some of them too!! Any ideas!?

i know www.gwentvw.co.uk do them and pretty sure www.venommotorsport.com do them too.

click on that link and there a few online vw parts stores that Mr Blue wanted, think the majority of them supply what you are after.

Ok, i think i've narrowed it down to one of these two...

But i really want to know which will look better on my car!! Has anyone got these indicators, and if so, can i see a picture?

I was also thinking of going into German and Swedish and trying theirs, and i could put each type on my car, and then see what its like. Prob with that is, they dont have the sidelights built in do they?

I think if you had crystal smoked headlights the first ones would look great but as you have crystals then the second ones would look the best. You could always have a go at smoking your headlights your self  :undecided:

Not sure smoking my own lights would br the best idea! They'd just turn black and stop working!!!

I had thought the same as you, in that crystal indicators to match the crystal headlights, but also thought smoked would blend into the bumpers or something?

Ok, lets see a picture then, as your car is similar to mine from the front anyway, almost the same colour :)
