Hello all

Been reading the site for a while as I've been thinking of getting a gti.

I'm now picking it up on Sat so thought I'd make my first post
3dr manual
Diamond Black
Leather
18" Monza 2s
Armrest

Bought it from motorprovider.co.uk for £19,750 - they seem to be ok so far but we'll see on Sat. I would have liked a 6 disc changer but given the nature of imports haven't been able to spec it and it has most of the other options i was after so I thought i'd go for it

Currently have a mr2 roadster (which I'm keeping and sharing both cars with my fiance) so it will be interesting to contrast the different styles of front wheel drive and front engined with rear wheel drive and rear engined.

2006 56 GTI, 3dr, Diamond Black, 18" Monza IIs, Leather, Armrest
2003 53 Toyota MR2, Lagoon Blue

That's a great spec...perfection.

Colour..the best.

Interior, well.... on resale..I'm at the door..now!

Wheels..the right choice.

Gti is an awesome sort of, mega baby.

I did over 130 mph on B roads, with no problems.

It's a very, very, fast car (motorbike on 4 wheels), with the same power to weight ratio as the original 16v Golf of the 80's.  You will only be limited by your driving skills.  The Police couldn't catch'em.  I know, cos' I was there!
Enjoy.....
Good car.
You Lucky b*st*rd.

Went for a look at it last Saturday and it definately has black interior

It was still covered in the potective film used for transporting so hopefully come the weekend they'll have got it nice and shiney for me! Am thinking about investing in Autoglym lifeshine - have found someone in Notts who'll do it for £100, which seems like a bargain given what a nightmare black cars are to keep clean.
