hi folks my 16v engine went bang big time today boo hoo but i have a low miler 8v engine in my garage what would be the difference in performance if i fitted it thanks folks

Would be alot easier to fit a 16v back in as you will need ecu various bits of loom etc.. And yes you will notice performance difference, 8v pulling earlier but runs out of puff quickly.

stick with the valver mate, lot less hassle to replace with another. theres some kicking around on eGay really cheap to. drop some new rings in, headgasket and bob's your uncle

After having a valver, an 8v just wouldn't cut it.
