Lots of people confuse royal blue with helios blue. Royal bluem has only been used since 1990 on big bumper mk2's. (I think). Oak green since 1987 Ereg.  Bring it on royal blue best colour for mk2 in my opinion.  Met black next.

yea I thought mine was Helios Blue for a long time, this is how it was advertised you see.

she is lowered 35mm all round on koni springs. previous owner said it was a full kit.

further investigation has revealed it isn't. it's just springs. it still rides ok though but puts a lot of pressure on the top mounts.

a full koni set up will be purchased after the bodywork is done.

might be worth getting some G60 top mounts.

looks quite low for -35mm

this colour aint that rare.  nor is oak green.  take a look in the classifieds on say pistonheads..  then try to find a pic of a 'calypso green' GTi,  now thats rare
