MOT Question

Hello peeps - silly question for you
If you have a rear wiper fitted like on the MKII GTI and it's not working - likely to be something they could fail you on for an MOT ??
Also what about reversing lights too ??
Cheers

Depends where you take it. I get mine done at a garage my Dad has known for years and years. They offer a free re-test, and are thorough without being picky. You dont have to have an appointment either

You definately do not have to have the reversing lights working to pass the MOT. There was a thread about this a while back. I'll dig out the DOT reference for you when I can find it. Mine haven't worked on my cabrio for a couple of years.
