Hi Y'all from GTi Alan
« on: 07 December 2006, 00:03 »
Just got a Mk3 GTI 8v.
Now that's what I call fun. I can't wait to drive it in the dry, and the light. In fact it'll be nice to see it in the light!
Cost £1200.
Mystic Blue and in excellent nick.
P reg with 148,000 miles on it but everything feels nice and tight.
Thanks for the tips on what could be wrong with a Golf. Everything checked out ok except a non operational sunroof motor but I don't think I'll need one of those for a while.

Welcome. Why didnt you choose a 16v????

If I'd found one I would have had it but up here in the wild, wild north of England choice is limited.

Though there will no doubt be dozens available soon, and cheaper, and younger, and ... well, you know what it's like :undecided:
