Got it all sorted, new pulley is in the post, and belt is waiting at work for me to collect. Should be back driving by the end of tomorrow with a bit of luck.

humm... well yesterday didn't go as planned, so we restart today, already gone out and retightened everything i loosened off yesterday. Stuck a freshly charged battery on there, and hopefully that will get me to northwich. So then i can go to town on it in a mates garage. I will get it sorted by this afternoon if it means me bleeding.

Don't you just hate it when, some monkey from a parts company sends you the wrong belt. Spent f**king ages on the bastard today, loosened off all the bloody pas/water pump/ crank side. Then fitted the pulley a couple of times, walloped it with a hammer to get the spring loaded tensioner arm loose, messed around with the bloody belt for AGES! multiple trips to halfords and the belt was too small.  Ended up going home early cos i was feeling rough as a dog, and have consequently been sh!tting meself inside out since about 3 (bet you all wanted to know)

Need to find a slightly longer belt now and then we will be away.

Oh and it made me bleed. Still, all good fun eh.

   the run in guns blazing because they "know" what it will be

no matter how many times you tell them its not the one listed , or some monkey at the factory mustve run out so fitted another part they still manage to Feck it up
