Just found the forum so though i'd register and say hello.
I've just got a '95 Mk3 2.016v GTi, which I collect in a couple of days.
It's by no means a minter, I got it extremely cheap from a friend as it has a few problems, but none the less, it's a Golf and tha's all that matters!
I will post a question in the technical section about hte problems, so if anyone is feeling smart, then please feel free to offer any advice.
I am also into old air cooled dubs too. Between the wife and I we have 4 bugs and a camper. I have an aircooled garage in Cornwall, called Air Supply should anyone be interested.
