just took my mk2 86 gti fro m.o.t. it failed on a small piece of welding, as you open the bonnet it is on the rear left hand side behing the shock top mount.
Has anyone had to weld this piece before?, will i need to take the dash out?
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
