Visited the VW stealership today for some parts

Whent along and picked up some Head bolts for the price of 38quid, not to bad i thought so ive orderd them.

Then i asked him to price up these bits just outta interest.

Exhaust valve x4
Intake Valve x4
Outer spring x8
Inner Spring x8
Collets x16
Upper Spring Cap x 8
Lower Spring Cap x8

I was greeted with the grand total of £475.98p

So off to GSF i go to see what they can do

Thats a fair amount of cash, give eurocarparts.co.uk a try. I women I knew took her 1.4 golf with a broken cambelt to my local stealers and was quoted £3500!!!! I advised her to  PSI tuning in  Stoke and Andy sorted it out for £1500, £2000 extra going towards that fancy showroom me thinks.

Not so, some parts are actually the same as OEM , you need to know what your looking for.

GSF stock OEM parts and replica parts made in China.  The guy at the counter will try and sell you the Chinese stuff first!

I've got friends within GSF so i get them to get me the OEM stuff or tell me if it's the Chinese replicas
