oil temp
«

My Digi is taking about 10 to 15 minutes to warm up to operating temp...that is it takes this time for the oil temp to register 90...the engine temp is usually in its position in 6 mins.
Anyone got any ideas.....could it be the thermostat sticking?
Just had head gasket changed if that is any help?
Cheers Guys!

im no expert, but mine acts the same at mo, i think it may be because of colder wet weather.
normally if im going down motorway at about 80mph the oil stays around 100-102 but lately about 98-100

take about 10 mins for mine to register 54 on the oil temp.
i normaly wait until the coolent temps about half way until i take the revs up......
that seems about right....
if your thermostat is sticking then your bottom hose shouldnt start to get warm for abit! not sure on what temp the thermo does open but it must be high!
