HI everyone, i have a mk3 1997 golf gti 8v and i need sum help its starts up and drives ok but when i stop it cuts out? ive gone to a couple of places and they cant find out whats roung with it! anyone no what could be roung?

most probably a dirty throttle body.
just give  it a good clean out with a lint free cloth and some carb cleaner.
