Ive seen a white Golf Mk2 on a A reg completly battered with an amazing 450,000 miles(Been to the moon and back).....quiet unbeliveable......I was sceptical of how genuine the 450,000 miles were but the condition of the car actually showed the mileage, the paint work looked like it had a story to tell(no panel was the same colour). The interior was non existent....the seat bolsters werent there, the steering had worn very thin, no heater, competly stank of crap and take away wrapers everywhere. Amazingly the owner still uses it daily but the real amazing thing is that it had a 1.3 engine!
Just think a 1.3 litre engine that has suppoeedly covered 450,000 miles now that is amazing
