2.0 8v AGG Vehicle speed sensor?
« on: 23 November 2006, 13:21 »
Hi,
I've got an intermittent fault that causes the engine to jump between 1000 and 1200RPM whilst ticking over, and it makes it virtually impossible to drive. I have a cheap code reader off ebay and this says it is the vehicle speed sensor. I was wondering whether anybody esle has come across this, or if anyone can point me in the right direction to finding out where this sensor is located and whats involved in changing it.
Also I recently fitted a set of gmax lowering springs and now the rides is really harsh with plenty of bump steer, it still has OE shocks, I wish I had shelled out the extra wonga for the eibach springs. anyone had any experience with these springs?. Is there anything i can do to calm it down a bit until i got the cash for new shocks and or springs?

This ain't a scene, it's a goddamn arm's race.
