Halfords Battery

anybody bought a Halfords battery recently. need a new one asap and its the easiest place to go. Which model do i need as the tw&t who had my car before me put a stupid vauxhall battery in which is knackered now.

Halfords should have a reference guide, I reccomend getting a heavy duty one if you have the option - especially if you run a power hood and amps

yeah, i have the power hood and an amp so i'll check for one of those heavy duty ones. cheers

they have warranties too so they can't be bad really

no point having a heavy duty battery if yur alternator aint powerful enough to charge it

just remember halfords battery's are made by Lucas so dont feel ashamed you didnt buy a Bosch.  :P

Bosch would have been cheaper from eurocarparts but i needed the battery today.

Anyway, i'm not fussed as long as it works (and i can peel the Halfords sticker off!)

Picked a battery up the other week for a friend for an rs turbo,cost approx ?50 for a standard n jumped to about ?60 for a heavy duty.Seems to hav done the job!Reference is there,no need to talk to the dimwits wot work there! ;D

steve can get a Bosch one from Andy Page for ?28 delivered to us at work thats a heavy duty  jobbie let us know in morning if u want one can get it for mid morning if u need it u got that fuel pump delivered yet?
