Whats the best suspension?
« on: 21 November 2006, 20:58 »
Looking to up-grade the fairly standard setup up in my MK1
Can any one reccomend a particular spring/damper setup, idealy I would like to be able to adjust the damper rates, aswell as the spring platform, so we're talking about coil overs, I know I am looking at a lot of wonga.
Also Anti roll bars?...
Any advise would be good.

Cheers

ive got koni springs and adjustable dampers on mine and that works really well, but it depends on what your after. I got mine for trackdays and fast road use. Im also in the process of putting eibach anti-roll bars on aswell as a complete polly bush kit this winter
old skool cool rules!

I mainly use it for fast road use, but it may become my everyday car.  I have a full poly bush kit on it and have had it lowered before, but it was way too harsh.
what sort of ride do the FK coilovers give, and can the damping rated be adjusted.  Will be going for the anti roll bars though, do they replace the orignal ones or mount along side them?
(sorry not up on this sort of stuff)
