Hi newby needs advice
« on: 20 November 2006, 13:30 »
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section as i'm not sure where to put it.

I am selling my current car that I think might be of interest to certain members looking for a cheap conversion. The car is a VW passat estate GT 1990, its the rare 2.0l 16v and not the common 1.8 engine, the car is complete still even has MOT to mid dec, its got FSH and £Â£Ã‚£'s in recipts. its done 140k, no probs with anything.

How much would this be worth?  its got to go to make way for my new car, I would rather sell to a VW nut than some idiot from ebay!

As stated car is 100% roadworthy and can be driven away, has good tyres etc, bad points are exhaust rattle, drivers seat bolster warn.

Not expecting to get loads just a rough idea of what its worth.

Thanks for your help.

Its worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

My guess - 200 to 300

I've also got a set of 16" cupra sport wheels [looked very nice on my mk1] with 2 nearly new tyres and 2 worn tyres, all have kerb marks but all are round and un-bent, there the standard white colour, will sell seperate or do a deal if wanted with the car

Not a problem, i'll sling a bucket of water over it and take some pics within the week, do I use image tags to post pictures?

Yes, IMG in [ ]. If you load them upto photobucket, it'll even make the tags for you :)
