i was parked and in my boyfriends house at the time, he came back from work and saw her reverse into it. she accepts claim as her foot slipped!!!

i'm not lookin for a door was enough hassle when i replaced them both before!!! hopefully it'll be write off saves me selling!

Only problem there is if they do write it off then you probably wont get its true value!

You might be able to buy it back off them and either repair it yourself or break it for spares.

bad luck i had the exact same thing happen to my first golf never found out who did mine though. i take it your not bothering with the heater then i did email you

go through insurance... let em right it off... put money in bank, scav lifts and walk etc until the money you got along with your other insurance claim thing = enough to buy a cab.... job done

go through the insurance and dont accept their first offer as they will prob write it off with it being an old car!

then u have some cash towards your cab

but dont spend the money on shoes

I agree. It's not your fault, you shouldn't have to sort it out. That's why we pay insurance! They probably will write it off, but as so many people have said should give you some money towards a cab :)

i'm happy for it to be written off!  :laugh: prob get more out of it... split car for bits, put back to standard and flog with 6months tax and test! :)

Nightmare. Why not buy it off the insurance company and get someone to fix it cheaply? May come out of it quids in!  :cool:
