oh dear...
« on: 19 November 2006, 20:28 »
been at the boyfriends this weekend, and his dosey ass neighbour has reversed into my car with her vauxhall tigra. there's not a mark on the tigra, barely a scratch, but this ids my poor dub now!

it appears to be just a door, but either way i'm going through her insurance! probably going to be a write off! as the other rear door is not opening properly!!! my boyfriend saw her do it.. she said her foot slipped!  thee top of the door is now no-where near the rubber seal, and i can get my fingers between top of door and car.

I got hit in the rear door, and even though it was the other person's fault, they were trying to make out it was my fault. My door was knackered kinda like yours han. Took it to be assessed and the bodyshop reckoned it would cost at least £500 and my excess on the insurance was already £250 and the other person wanted £500 for a smashed headlight and small dent in his wing.
I got the insurance company to settle it without admitting fault cos it wasn't my fault, but couldn't prove it was his fault. Lost my no claims, but bought a door from a breakers for £35 in the right colour and got a small garage to swap the door over for £30.
