Workshop manuals?
« on: 12 January 2004, 11:35 »
Just wondering if anybody could recommend a good detailed workshop manual for the mk2 golf gti?

I remember when I was a kid my dads haynes were a lot more detailed than todays "Service Manual" equivalent but can't seem to find anything similar these days.

Thanks in advance

Ian

Haynes manuals are a bit pants to be honest...
You can pick up the Golf MkII one for a tenner in any good halfords (if there is such a thing).

Might be worth checking with VW to see if they do a service manual.

Bentley manuals are the best. Have a look on Amazon.

VW won't do a service manual. Go for a Bentley manual, hugely more detailed than Haynes.
