Just PLEASE don't ask how much it cost...
« on: 08 November 2006, 22:33 »
Well my Ex girlfriend finally paid me half the money she owes me from about a year back. So i treated myself and my dub. Now its not the prettiest of exhausts but it does the job and weighes f**kall! Big thanks to R-tec who where stars. Top Class hospitality and service (as expected for how much it cost!) . They fitted the exhaust exactly as i wanted it with exception of how much it sticks out. Sadly due to the lengh of the exhaust it couldn't sit back any further. The exhaust is exactly as i wanted it, Loud, Ugly and light as fook!!

Fielder its nice mate. There has been discussions on the weight saving advantage of using twin cans from motor bikes! Saving 10kg whats your target?

Truthfuly it cost me 190 quid including custom fitting. R-tec did a real good job. It was nice to have work done on my car where i got 100% say in what was going on and i knew the work would be spot on. They even made up brackets for the exhaust which are made to fit so well it wont scratch the can.

It had been ordered for sombody else and they didnt want it so they shoved it on top of a display cabonet for 100. When i said i wanted it they all looked at my car and couldnt understand what the hell i was doing. They kept trying to sell me a twin exit super sprint box. But i stuck at it and im uber happy with it. It suits the car perfectly - Ugly but light and straight to the point. No frills

hahahaha fielders a c**k. sorry but he is just a tit. What a waste of forum space for that moron.

Not a bad price mate tbh, you'd pay more than that for a top end ss one. If I was that concerned about weight saving though I myself would've probably lopped the exhaust off after the downpipe and gone for a side exit system
