will these fit?

does anybody know if the following size wheels will fit on my 02 gti turbo?

245/45Z R18 -------- ET 22    81/2Jx18H2

bit confused please help!!!

the 22mm offset doesnt seem right, an 8.5 inch wide wheel should have an offset of around 38 otherwise you may get arch rubbing .. also you dont tell us the stud pattern, should be 5x100.

ok cheers they are off a bmw 728 but the bloke selling them reckons they will fit all vw's.

7 Series E38:  94 to 02;  PCD = 5x120;  Offset = 15 to 25;  Bore = 72.6mm

Golf Mk4:  98 to 03;  PCD = 5x100;  Offset = 30 to 45;  Bore = 57.1 mm

= A big no-no! :wink:
