glove box mechanism broke!!!!!

the mechanism has broke on my glove box, the part the holds it up and is connected to the handle. does anybody know how to strip it down? do i have to take the glovebox out???
i thought the tray bit would clip out some how without taking the glove box door off, but not sure how???
any help would be great as i have a piece of paper wedged in at the mo  :cry:

i've got the same problem i'm going to get a new lid on pay do.

Common fault guys, the door is sealed and you will need a new one.

Did mine last year, you need part number 1J2 857 121 A
